Payment declined

My credit card was declined
You have paid for your order by credit card and received the message that the payment was declined. Credit cards are unfortunately susceptible to fraud. Payments made using these payment methods are therefore objectively and automatically controlled by the financial institution making our credit card payments based on a large number of criteria. A payment can be rejected when, for example, the CVC code or date of expiration is not correctly filled in, or when the order and payment takes place from an unprotected Wi-Fi location where fraud is sometimes detected.

My credit card payment has been declined in error
Unfortunately it can occur that the payment was declined in error. wrongly refuse your payment. That is a nuisance, we apologize for this! Mercurius USA cannot see why your specific payment has been rejected. We also cannot reverse a refused payment. We do not collect the reserved amount. Mercurius USA uses no 'black lists' from other companies and will in turn never share this rejected payment with other companies. The good news is that with these controls we can detect very many fraudsters and protect both Mercurius USA and our customers against counterfeit payments.

What do I do now?
We are just as keen as you to have your parcel get to you as quickly as possible. You can simply try the credit card again, call your bank to see what the issue is or call us to manually process the payment.
