Through her children's Waldorf school, artist Geertje Kapteijns was introduced to seasonal celebrations, festivals, and the preciousness of childhood play. Inspiring her chalkboard drawings and inviting a conscious reflection on a time of the year or event and the feeling it sparks. She enjoys too the magic of applying colour and light into the darkness of a chalkboard.
