Encaustic Art Stamp - Owl

The Encaustic Art range of stamps offers a variety of images in different formats. The wooden block stamps are old favorites and bring a number of useful silhouette images to the range. Best used with a dye ink pad if they are going to be ironed over with wax. This will avoid any smudging that could occur if pigment inks are used.

The owl wood block rubber stamp is a strong silhouette image for your stamping work with encaustic art. It works well coming in from the right hand side of an image. Remember too that you can use black marker pens or ink pens to add further silhouette information – like more branches for instance. Or use one of the stylus tools to add in extra color and detail. The round tip for a moon perhaps?
