Agave Watercolor is a natural white watercolor paper. It is characterised by its cold pressed and very homogeneous surface texture. It is suitable for all kinds of watercolor techniques, especially for glazing. The special surface of the 290 g/m² paper allows brushes to slide over the surface easily and allows for brilliant color gradients. Washouts and corrections are simple possibilities.

Agave Watercolor is vegan, acid-free and resistant to ageing. By using sisal, a fast-growing and resource-saving raw material, Agave Watercolor is the ideal painting surface for environmentally conscious artists. The block is glued on all four sides, allowing artists to paint directly on the pad without needing to stretch or tape down the paper. This gluing method also helps prevent the paper from buckling when wet. After painting, you can carefully lift off the sheet with a small knife. The glue usually has a small gap that isn’t glued, where you can gently insert the knife.
